Josh has been serving as an Executive in the Asian food Industry for 13 years before joining Yumbau.
As I care for the well-being of our earth and my health, I am proud to receive ‘Sustainable Hero Award’ in 2018. I am excited to introduce the first plant-based Dim Sums to Europe to promote a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.
Hongmei (“Ivy”) Zhang
Founder, Chief Innovation Officer and German CEO
Ivy grew up in Southern China and as a child ate the Dim Sums crafted by her grandma.
I have a passion for healthy nutrition. That’s why we created Asian Dim Sums based on plant-based high protein ingredients. I am honored to be ”2022 Plant-Based German CEO” by our new tasty Dim Sums with alternative meat.

Sustainability
Dim Sum is the name for small portions of delicious wrapped food with various fillings from southern China. Gyoza, dumplings or momo are some other terms, according to the region where they are come from.
It is a dish that can be eaten for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or as a light snack. Therefore, traditionally, a grandmother prepares fillings with unused groceries for her dim sum to avoid food waste. We want to bring this “Zero Food Waste” spirit to our customer when they taste our delicious home style dim sum.
Inheriting the authentic southern Chinese wrapping style, YUMBAU uses a thin 0.7mm wrapper for the perfect delicious taste. YUMBAU Dim Sum is ideal to be steamed, pan fried or boiled in water.
